Steven S. Farbman is currently ranked as one of the top trial lawyers in the state of Florida, receiving numerous accolades for his hard work ethic in seeking justice for his clients. Steven has been certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law, an honor only a small percentage of attorneys in the state of Florida can claim. In addition, as a result of his million dollar settlements and verdict he was invited to be a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive association that only identifies attorneys who have won a verdict of over a million dollars for their clients.

Mr. Farbman serves and assists those who have been wrongfully injured and he doesn’t rest until his clients receive the justice that they deserve. The verdicts he fights for often outweigh the expectations even his own clients have. In 2000, Mr. Farbman successfully litigated and received a jury in excess of Four Million Dollars for his client, a mother who after being struck by a tractor trailer at a red light underwent several spinal surgeries. Mr. Farbman’s successful verdict was the fourth largest in Miami-Dade County that year. The following year, Mr. Farbman argued and triumphed for a sixty-seven year old woman who tripped on an uneven sidewalk, leading to a fractured hip and torn rotator cuff. The victory resulted in the largest jury award in Indian River County of 2001. Mr. Farbman’s reputation as a hardnosed litigator, has also allowed him to resolve cases for his clients without the need of lengthy and costly litigation. Most recently he successfully negotiated a settlement in excess of One Million Dollars for an immigrant truck driver who suffered back injuries in a trucking accident in Indiana, successfully argued with an insurance carrier to afford coverage to a wife and children who lost their husband and father in a severe car crash, and have helped many Florida consumers who have been injured from defective products. Mr. Farbman seeks justice in all personal injury cases, including, but not limited to, wrongful death, drunken driving, motor vehicle crashes, motorcycle accidents, defective products, premises liability, medical malpractice, animal attacks, and more.

Practicing law since 1985, Steve has become a prominent member of the South Florida community. Throughout his career and through the achievements he has attained, Steve has still maintained the persona of an unassuming, friendly, caring, and sincere person who likes to view each client as a member of his own family. Beyond his professional work, he is heavily involved in charitable organizations, often donating his spare time to assist those in need. He was involved in the Guardian ad Litem program during the 1990’s, during which time he helped protect abused children throughout Broward County. In 2008, he was elected chair of the Leadership Program sponsored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, where he leads and introduces business owners, professionals, community activists, and members of government to important organizations in our community which deal with education, government, social services, legal services, environment, tourism, media, and public safety. Mr. Farbman was also elected to the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and is also a member of the Aventura-Sunny Isles Beach Chamber of Commerce and Aventura Marketing Council.

Mr. Farbman was born and raised in the state of New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania before going on to receive his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, located in Davie, Florida. Currently, Steve practices in Hollywood, FL, located in the heart of Broward County that allows him to conveniently serve the tri-county area in South Florida. In addition to his South Florida presence, Mr. Farbman has handled serious injury cases throughout the State of Florida as well as helping local residents who are injured outside of this State.
